Electronic communication and social media have continued to play a larger and larger role in nonprofit communication and funding. This includes a website, e-newsletters, email lists, Constant Contact, Facebook®, Twitter, on-line funding drives, blogs, etc. The Klein textbook was written in 2011, and much has changed during those 5 years. I’ve also listed a couple of articles in the Resources. Research one of these or identify a different source, post the information, and discuss how it might impact organizational funding. Is increasing friends (“friendraising”) as valuable as increasing funds? Think about the Return on Investment for social media activities. Include your source.
