Starbucks is a company that not only myself, but a lot of others are familiar with. Being a faithful customer for many years, I chose to discuss the functions of management within the business of Starbucks. There are internal and external factors that affects the functions of management. Starbucks has been around for over 40 years and is steadily growing. The company is definitely here to stay and has been a mirror for their competitors.

Functions of Management

The four functions of management are planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Planning delivers strategic value. Organizing helps to build a dynamic organization, whereas leading helps to mobilize people. Controlling brings the learning and changing to a business.
