In this unit, you will become the marketing expert of a select healthcare system (John Hopkins). By the end of this unit, you will be able to proficiently elaborate how healthcare marketing principles and theories can maximize effectiveness of a specific healthcare system.

 Dialysis care

Discuss how your selected healthcare system can legally market their services and products (e.g., federal requirements, state mandates, etc.)

Defend three (3) marketing principles and/or theories that you believe are most promising for your healthcare system.

Research a real-life healthcare system that matches the system you selected and synthesize the success of its marketing efforts.3 pages


Write a letter to the CEO of John Hopkins about the findings.1 page

 Use my personal event & information below as the background for assignment in the first person role:

 I want to delve in the area of Dialysis. My aunt passed away from kidney disease and I never had the chance to research the full system around dialysis treatment, equipment and services. Some legal concerns would be consent of the patient and or family/caretaker, the scope of treatment and types that can be given considering the level of illness patients have, the care with permission of patients and facilities to use cases and personal accounts, eventual death, wills, and patient care management during and after in outpatient services. Marketing must also be precise and sensitive with the information and level of conditions. John Hopkins would be my choice. They’re market areas include brand management and production, estrategy and web services, and market research. Some areas are hemodialysis and renal transplantation.
